Thieves abandon plans to steal motorbike after discovering it had flat battery


Thieves abandoned plans to steal vehicles from outside a village home after discovering the motorbike had a flat battery.

Spare keys for a car and motorbike were taken from a home in Station Road, Quainton sometime between 10am and 7.30pm on Wednesday March 4.

However, thieves left both sets of keys at the property after discovering the bike’s battery was flat.

The incident is being linked to another burglary in Buckinghamshire on the same day between 6.30pm and 7.30pm when jewellery was stolen from a home in Burnham Road, Westcott.
