A burglar has been jailed for three and a half years after breaking into homes by popping the locks on doors.
Carl Bater-James, 23, from Dunstable, Bedfordshire has been sentenced following the incidents in Aylesbury in October 2013.
The three burglaries all took place overnight between Sunday 27 and Monday 28 October in Cleveland Road, Cannock Road and Ascott Road.
Bater-James broke in to all three houses by popping the locks on the UPVC doors.
Once inside, he stole various property including jewellery, cash, electrical items, purses and wallets.
Insp James Davies said: “This is an excellent result and I am very pleased with the sentence handed down to Carl Bater-James.
“Tackling property burglaries is a high priority for the Aylesbury Vale LPA and this sentence sends out a strong deterrent message to would be offenders that we will not tolerate this type of criminal activity and we will prosecute you.”
