Scene watch in place after shot fired as man entered house in Aylesbury

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a firearms incident and criminal damage in Aylesbury.

At around 11.30pm yesterday (Tuesday May 13th 2020), the victim, a man in his 20s, was entering a property in Hampden Road when he heard a loud bang.

Damage was caused to the front downstairs window of the property.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Fred Ruffle, of Aylesbury Force CID, said: “As a result of our initial enquiries, we believe that the damage to the window of the property was caused by a firearm being discharged.

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have any information, to please come forward.

“A scene watch that was in place has since been removed. There may be an increased number of officers in the local area whilst we investigate.
