On 10 April, 1995, Janet Brown, 51, was bludgeoned to death in her home in Sprigs Holly Lane, Radnage, Buckinghamshire. She had been at home alone that evening.

Her naked body was discovered by builders the following morning who had arrived to do some work.

A post-mortem examination showed the Oxford University research nurse died of head injuries believed to have been inflicted by a blunt instrument, such as a crowbar. There was no evidence of sexual assault.

Janet's killer or killers have not been found. Police say they are open-minded about the motive.

In 2015 police revealed that they had managed to retrieve a DNA sample but no match is yet to be made.

Police say: “All we need is their name.”

Roxanne Brown, Janet's daughter says: “The police have worked really hard - in recent years we've managed to get a DNA profile but we just really need a vital clue to really pinpoint or lead us to the killer or killers and just be able to put all of that behind us."
