Wycombe fan Brandon Green was so disgusted with his team's 2-0 defeat against the Dons on February 1 that he hurled a coin onto the pitch at Stadium MK.

The action caused him to be arrested and charged with "throwing a missile" onto a football playing area.

The offence is contract to the Football (Offences) Act of 1991.

Green, who is 21 and lives in Princess Risborough, appeared before Milton Keynes magistrates last week.

He was fined £253 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and £32 towards victim services.

The court decided not to make a banning order, which would prevent Green from attending other matches. This was because the offence caused "minimal" disturbance"m there was no violence, and Green had no previous convictions.
