Police hunt gang of eight after stabbing in Aylesbury leaves man hospitalised

One man needed hospital treatment after being stabbed in a mass altercation with eight offenders in Aylesbury.

Thames Valley Police believes 10 people were involved in this brawl that left a man needing treatment for a stab wound.

Police officers want to hear from witnesses who saw this attack which happened yesterday evening (June 16).

At a time between 9.45pm and 10.45pm in Fairfax Crescent two men were assaulted whilst sat inside a vehicle.

The victims were males, one 19 and one 24, they both sustained injuries whilst inside the vehicle.

One of the victims sustained a stab wound to his arm, and the other had minor cuts to his arms. The first victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged. The second victim did not require hospital treatment.

It was reported that there were up to eight offenders involved, who were all dressed in dark clothing.

Detective Constable Hannah Davison, of Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, whereby two men who were inside a vehicle in Fairfax Crescent suffered injuries believed to have been caused by a bladed article or knife.

“One of them had to receive hospital treatment, but has thankfully since been discharged. The other did not need to go to hospital.

“Thankfully this is a rare incident that we also believe to be isolated. However, police officers will be conducting reassurance patrols in the local area over the next coming days.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Fairfax Crescent between 9.45pm and 10.45pm on Wednesday night, and believes they may have information relating to this incident, or that saw something, to please get in touch with police.
