Police hunt boys following 'horrible' abuse and robbery of young girls in Buckingham

Police are hunting for two young boys after they abused, robbed and tormented two young girls in broad daylight in Buckingham

Thames Valley Police said that at 3pm on Saturday (December 5), three girls aged between 12 and 13 were in a play area near the skate park in Bridge Street in Buckingham.

Police said two boys then approached them in the park and began making lewd comments, spat towards them and poked them.

Officers said they also followed the girls, pushing them over and demanding money from them, then took food from them before throwing it at them. This lasted around 30 minutes before the boys ran off when the girls called their mothers.

None of the victims were injured during the incident, police said.

The first boy is described by police as being white and aged between 10 to 11-years-old, around 4ft 6ins tall and thin. He had blond spiky hair and was wearing a hooded top and matching tracksuit bottoms which had a navy strip running down them.

The second boy is described by police as white, aged 12 or 13-years-old and around 4ft 8ins tall. He was of a larger build with dark brown hair. He was dressed in a camouflage hooded top and black jogging bottoms.

Investigating officer PC Paice O’Brien said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, which was particularly distressing for these young girls.

“Thankfully they did not sustain injuries, but they were subjected to half an hour of this horrible treatment by the offenders who were unknown to them.
