Of the police activity in Wendover a nearby resident told The Bucks Herald: "The police have been there all day. We tried driving down there this morning but the RAF police said we had to go the other way.

"They are RAF personnel houses so we thought it was someone who lived there parking strangely. But there were three vehicles at one stage and what looked like civilian police so there is obviously something going on."

More on these incidents as we get it.
