Pensioner charged over historic sexual offences against children

A pensioner has been charged in connection with allegations of sexual offences against children in the Aylesbury area during the 1970s and 1980s.

Michael Salmon, 80, of no fixed abode, was charged on Friday with one count of rape of a female under 16, 24 counts of indecently assaulting a female and one count of indecently assaulting a male.

The charges are in relation to 19 victims.

Salmon is due to appear at Wycombe Magistrates Court on December 11.
