Man jailed for stabbing ex-partner in the thigh with kitchen knife

A man from Aylesbury has been jailed for three years after stabbing his ex-partner with a kitchen knife.

Garran Graham, of Coxhill Way, was found guilty by a jury of grievous bodily harm following an incident in Aylesbury in May 2011 in which the victim was stabbed in the upper thigh and sustained two wounds that required hospital treatment.

Investigating officer DC Diane Rooney from Aylesbury CID said: “I would like to thank the victim and witnesses for their courage and patience in coming forward and giving evidence to ensure Graham was brought to justice for his actions.

“Thames Valley Police take all cases of domestic abuse extremely seriously and support the victims of such violence throughout the judicial process.”
