A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to 14 months of rehabilitation work after being convicted of a number of offences involving vehicles.
Ben Tickner, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of one count of theft from a motor vehicle and one count of vehicle interference.
A few days later he was found guilty of one additional count of attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
A search was carried out and a set of keys were taken from one of the vehicles in Stour Close.
On the same day there was an incident of vehicle interference on the same day in Dixon Close, when offenders were checking door handles for unsecure vehicles.
Investigating officer, DC Matthew Bly, from Aylesbury Vale CID, said: “We take vehicle crime very seriously and hope Tickner’s conviction and sentence serves as a deterrent to others.
“Thames Valley Police will not tolerate this crime in our community.
“We will do everything in our power to track down offenders and bring them to justice.”
