Man, 57, arrested after teenager stabbed in chest on Aylesbury estate

Yesterday (14/5) at around 9.50pm, an 18-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the chest in the garden of a property in Harcourt Green.

He is currently in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

A man, aged 57 from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Simon Tyas based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We would ask that anyone with information about this assault to get in touch.

“It is likely there were people in the area at the time who may have seen or heard something which could be helpful to the investigation, including dash-cam or CCTV images.

“You may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area and if you saw a vehicle leaving the scene, please get in touch.

“We realise this may be concerning for the community, we are currently in the early stages of this investigation and there will be an increased police presence in the area.
