Four arrests after two men attacked

Police have arrested four men after an attack in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At about 2.10am police were called to a report of four men assaulting two men in Buckingham Street, near the Emperors Lounge.

The victims suffered bruising and pain to the head and one attended Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Three men from Aylesbury, aged 22, 23 and 32 were arrested on suspicion of assault and a 20-year-old man, also from Aylesbury was arrested on suspicion of attempted assault.

All four were later released on police bail until October 7.

PC Andy Hipwell, based at Aylesbury police station said: “Officers were called to an incident outside a late night venue in Aylesbury.

“Four people have been arrested and are currently on police bail.

“Police will deal swiftly with this type of incident to ensure the welfare of members of the community who want to a safe and enjoyable night out.”
