Thames Valley Police has confirmed a woman needed hospital treatment after she was bitten by a dog in a park in Aylesbury.

This afternoon (10 December), the force has released an appeal asking for information, which is linked to an attack in Eskdale Park.

Police officers have identified two individuals who may have vital information regarding the ongoing investigation.

At around 3pm on Thursday 21 November, a woman in her 40s was leaving Eskdale Park when she was ran at by a dog, causing her to fall over.

Thames Valley Police reports that she was bitten by the dog on the calf and required hospital treatment on the wound, but has since been discharged.

Investigating Officer, PC Jake Padgett said: “We are releasing an image of individuals we believe may have vital information in connection with this incident.

“If you recognise them or this is you please call Thames Valley Police on 101 quoting reference 43240564809 or you can provide information on our online form.

“If you do not wish to speak to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
