CCTV released after woman raped in bus station in Aylesbury

Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of a person who may have vital information following an incident of rape in Aylesbury.

At a time between 4am and 5am on Sunday (15 March) a woman in her forties was asleep in the car park of a bus station in Friars Square when she was raped by an unknown man.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital, where she remains. She is currently being offered support.

Officers are now releasing CCTV images of a person who may have important information regarding the incident.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Justin Harris, of Aylesbury Force CID, said: “I am releasing these CCTV images, as I believe that the person pictured may have vital information that can assist this investigation.

“If anyone recognises him, or you believe that this could be you, please contact police as soon as possible.

“I would also ask that anyone with information relating to the incident gets in touch with police, and anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they saw something to make contact.
