Aylesbury man Bertie Turvey becomes seventh charged over murder of Amir Shafique

Four men from Aylesbury and two men from Birmingham have previously been charged with murder and have been remanded in custody.

Officers investigating the murder of Amir Shafique, aged 22, from Aylesbury, have charged a seventh man in connection with the investigation.

Bertie Turvey, aged 21, of no fixed abode was charged on Thursday (19/11) with one count of murder.

The charge is in connection with an incident in Lembrook Walk, Aylesbury, on 28 October, when Mr Shafique died of injuries sustained following reports of a large fight.

Turvey will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today.
