Aylesbury man arrested outside chicken shop on busy street after being suspected of failing to attend court

There were dramatic scenes on Cambridge Street in Aylesbury on Sunday when police swooped to make the arrest.

A 39-year-old Aylesbury man was arrested outside a chicken shop on Cambridge Street at around 1.10pm on Sunday.

Three police cars and a van were spotted at the scene as a large crowd gathered.

The man was handcuffed outside a popular chicken takeaway before being taken away by officers.

The man, who is in police custody, was arrested on suspicion of failing to attend court after being spotted by officers.
