Aylesbury 20-year-old Bradley Ruby jailed for intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a firearm

20 year old Bradley Ruby from Aylesbury has been jailed for 8 and a half years for intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a weapon.

Bradley had been selling crack cocaine, cannabis and diamorphine, which is pharmaceutical heroin.

He was also found with a shotgun, which did not have a firearm certificate.

He was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court Yesterday,

On Friday 8 November, Ruby pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, diamorphine and crack cocaine, one count of possession with intent to supply a class B drug, cannabis, two counts of possessing a firearm without a firearm certificate and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon, pepper spray.

Ruby was charged on Wednesday 17 July last year following his arrest on 16 July which resulted from a search warrant under Section 23 of Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Dale Price of Aylesbury Vale CID, said: “This was a long and complex investigation, which resulted in the seizure and removal from our streets of two firearms, ammunition, a section five firearm (pepper spray) and over £4,000 worth of class A and B drugs that would have been supplied into the community.

“I would like to thank the public for their assistance in this case.

“I hope this sends out a message to all, that Thames Valley Police will act proactively and robustly to deal with any such serious and dangerous offences to protect the public and bring offenders to justice.

“The Area CID team worked a 22-hour shift to ensure that the offender was charged and remanded – a fine example of the officers’ commitment to protecting the public and removing dangerous firearms from the streets.

“Our new campaign True Costs is also highlighting and exploring the devastating harm of drug use on our communities.

“Children as young as 12 have been found to be involved in the drugs trade in the Thames Valley.
