30-year-old-man left with head injuries after attack in Aylesbury

A 34-year old-man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an altercation on Sunday.

At a time between 12.30am and 12.45am today (9/8) an altercation occurred between a group of people on Discovery Street, which then moved into Domino Way.

The victim, a man aged in his thirties, was assaulted and sustained head injuries after being punched.

He was taken to hospital where he remains.

Officers have made an arrest in connection with this incident.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Rob Mogridge, of Aylesbury Police Station said: “I would like to appeal for witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has any information relating to it.

“If you saw or heard anything, please come forward and speak to police.

“Officers have arrested a man in connection with this investigation, and he is currently in police custody.
