An 18 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape, following an incident on March 15 in Friars Square Bus Station Car Park.

An 18-year-old man from Aylesbury was arrested today (20/3) on suspicion of rape, and is currently in police custody.

The arrest is in connection with an incident in the car park of a bus station in Friars Square, when a woman in her forties was raped at a time between 4am and 5am on Sunday (15/3).

The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital, but has now been discharged.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Justin Harris, of Aylesbury Force CID said: “I would like to re-iterate our appeal for witnesses to this incident, which occurred at a time between 4am and 5am on Sunday (15/3).
