Court round-up: Man stole clothes and watch from TK Maxx in Aylesbury


A thief who stole from TK Maxx is featured in this week’s round-up from Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court.

THOMAS JAMES CHAPMAN, 36, of Barnard Crescent, Aylesbury. On December 17 stole two men’s jerseys and one watch, worth £94, from TK Maxx, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Community order made. Costs £85, victim surcharge £60.

MATTHEW PETER CHENEY, 30, of Argyle Avenue, Aylesbury. On November 22 in Buckingham Street, Aylesbury, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Pleaded guilty. Awaiting sentence.

STUART JOHN WINDER, 44, of Achilles Way, Braintree, Essex. On December 30 in Stork Close, Aylesbury, had in his possession a quantity of methylene, a class A drug. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, costs £85, victim surcharge £15.

MARIAN SKILLER, 35, of Runfurrow, Haddenham. On January 23 drove a silver BMW 318 in Woodways, Haddenham, after consuminig 109 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, disqualified from driving for 24 months, costs £85, victim surcharge £60.

ANDREW MARK SHORT, 32, of Albion Street, Aylesbury. On January 16 in Aylesbury resisted a police officer in the execution of her duty. Pleaded guilty. Fined £80, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.
