A community venue, used as a place to meet, eat and socialise, has been temporarily closed.
The Hub at Aston Clinton has been taken back into the possession of the parish council. And over the coming weeks residents will be asked for their views on the future of the venue.
Several commercial property repossession notices have been placed on the door and windows of the property in London Road , addressed to Mr Brennan (Gary Brennan, who managed the venue).
A statement on the parish council website states: “On Friday 16th January the parish council took back possession of the building known as The Hub. It was regrettable that we had to take this action. We are very sorry that the facility for serving food and drink in the park has been suspended and we are now going to review the options available.”
Neither Mr Brennan or any member of Aston Clinton parish council was available for comment.
