Cigarettes and cash stolen during '˜very frightening' robbery at Winslow Co-op

Staff at the Co-op store in Winslow were threatened during a '˜very frightening incident' in which cigarettes and cash were stolen.

The robbery took place at approximately 9.50pm on Thursday and involved two men, police said today (Saturday).

The first offender is white, 5ft 8ins tall and medium build. He was wearing dark clothing. The second offender is white, about 6ft 1 in tall and of medium build and he was also wearing dark clothing.

Investigating Officer, Det Con Edward Blackburn from Force CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “This was very frightening incident for the members of staff and I would ask anyone who may have been in the area to contact police if they saw anything suspicious. “
