Jamie Bachman, who works for the firm, said: “As the demand for fish and chips grew so did the company.

“We bought a third vanand then a fourth visiting more and more areas.

“Now based in Little
Horwood, we travel as far as Bugbrooke in Northamptonshire and Oakley in Bucks serving hundreds of hungry people every week.”

He added: “The success of our company we believe is down to the hardworking staff, great quality products and most importantly our loyal customer base.”

To mark the anniversary Howe and Co has launched a hunt on Facebook for their longest standing customer, via their page.

They also held a free givaway for customers last week, awarding 85 prizes, one of
every year of the landmark
anniversary.

Jamie added: “Whether it’s locals in the village pub, or the many senior citizens we see on a Friday the national love of fish and chips is one
tradition that is most definitely not dying out.

“There’s even a select few that have been visiting the van for over 30 years.

“They wait patiently for the van week after week year
after year, always showing their support.”
