Adrian Silas has planned the night for Dodo Pad’s 50th birthday party on Friday with ‘high-profile’ guests expected to attend.

The party will include a champagne reception, afternoon cream tea and ‘expect the unexpected’ entertainment.

Dodo Pad was first produced as a family planner by Sir John Verney in 1965 so it made sense for Friday’s bash to take place at the Verney-owned house.

Costumed characters will bring a slice of Dodo Pad history to life, while guests will be entertained with live music and given the chance to explore the 18th century country house and grounds.

Rebecca Jay, managing director of Dodo Pad, said: “We are incredibly excited to be celebrating our 50th anniversary and really looking forward to doing it in true Dodo Pad style with our party at Claydon House.

“It is great to have Adrian on board to organise the entertainment for our guests and make the celebrations extra special.

“Claydon House is the perfect setting to mark this special birthday for the Dodo Pad

The party will signal the launch of the Golden Jubilee collection of diaries and planners, which have been designed in gold and purple

Tickets for the 50th birthday party cost £50.
