The Healing Temple, a holistic therapy business that is the brainchild of Guiomar Rebelo, is opening on the former site of the UKIP office in Weston Turville.
Aylesbury mayor Barbara Russel opened the store on Thursday March 30, which promises to offer a range of massages and classes.
Founder Ms Rebelo said: “I will be offering various therapies and classes which are designed to help people find their own way in life and reach their goals.”
The Healing Temple will be offering holistic counselling and coaching, hypnotherapy, energy psychology, reflexology, quantum healing hypnosis therapy and indian head and therapy massages.
Ms Rebelo said she had an eye on the premises in Middle Field in the village for a while now.
She said: “I saw the space a couple of years ago but UKIP took it over.
“It is the right location for me - I think it is better to offer therapy in villages because not everyone who comes wants people to know they have been there.”
Ms Rebelo was born in Portugal but moved to the UK and Aylesbury in 2000, where she has been ever since.
She said: “I like Aylesbury because it is a quiet town.
“I like the associations with ducks and the people.
“It is a good town that is expanding all the time and it is very easy to live here.”
Ms Rebelo said a lot of visitors had come to the temple since it opened to find out more.
She said: “People have come in asking for cards or flyers and have had a lot of questions about what we offer.”
The Healing Temple was formerly based in Nursery Close, Aylesbury before its move to Weston Turville.
