BRUSSELS ATTACKS: Aylesbury MEP and team '˜safe and well'


The politician, who is from Aylesbury and represents the South East in the European Parliament, said: “My team and I are safe but feeling shaken after the horrific events in Brussels this morning.
“My heart goes out to all the victims of these cowardly attacks and their loved ones, as well as all those who rushed to help them.

This morning there were two bomb blasts at the capital city’s Zaventem airport, and a second bombing incident at the Maelbeek metro station.
It is currently believed that 34 people have been killed in both incidents, with scores more injured – however the full extent of the atrocities may not yet be known.
