BREXIT OPINION: CLLR Robin Stuchbury - "And so begins our magical mystery tour our of the EU begins"

Cllr Robin Stuchbury said: "And so begins the magical mystery tour out of the EU! We aren't really sure where the bus is going and we don't know where it's going to end up.

"Of course, our democratic process means that we have to respect the result. But still, after all this time what we were voting for, and have voted for is unclear.

"If anybody knows exactly what is going on - they are either a clairvoyant or they have an inside track to the cabinet which nobody else seems to have.

"I'm very concerned that the United Kingdom will remain so United after we leave the EU.

"It would be a travesty in leaving the European Union, we also broke up the United Kingdom. Having grown up in the 60s and 70s I am fearful for what will happen in Ireland.

"I was in the generation where Irish terorism was an everyday event. I hope we don't see a return to those dark days in Ireland.

"I am concerned for the future of my children. It is still very unclear as to what Brexit means. It's now the duty of the PM to tell us what we need to know.

"People now need to unify. It's dividing us in more ways than we could imagine - old and young, right and left, parties within parites. It's a private family tragedy.
