Students at Booker Park Special School, Aylesbury, have taken delivery of more than 90 books donated to their library.
Local businessman Ameet Doshi has donated 98 of the top 100 illustrated books and he is pictured with his wife Asmita meeting students when they delivered the books. Ameet, who owns kitchen and bathroom firm Rothwell James, said: “I want to give back to the children of our community who are our future. It was great to see how pleased the children were to receive our donation.”
Principal Chris Ludlow added: “We were delighted to receive this donation from Ameet and were overwhelmed by the number of books he bought for the children.
“The students were instantly engaged and are excited to visit the library and borrow some of the books. Ameet is a regular supporter of the school and we are incredibly grateful for his generosity.”
