Youngsters will be heading in to the great outdoors at one Ayelsbury school.
Turnfurlong Junior School celebrated the end of term by officially opening their Community Performance Area, which has been funded by a generous donation from the National Lottery.
The new area will allow outdoor performances that parents, families and the local community to come and share.
The area can also be used as an outdoor classroom which is linked with the school TV.
Sue Rymer, School Administrator at Turnfurlong, said: “The opening event was a huge success with 360 children singing carols whilst parents enjoyed a warming cup of hot chocolate.
“We are very excited as to how this area will be used especially when the weather improves.”
