Back to school for her wedding day

Vikki Fyvie, 29, formerly Vikki Dawson, married husband Alex during a ceremony at Ashfold School.

She attended the independent school in Dorton from the ages of four to 10.

The wedding followed a surprise proposal at the appropriately named Fyvie Castle in Scotland.

Mrs Fyvie, who won the talent competition a few years ago when she sung I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston and Shout by Lulu, said: “Alex decided to surprise me because I thought I was going to my best friend’s engagement party.

“A lot of my family and friends were there to witness the proposal and we stayed at the castle over the weekend which was lovely.”

Mrs Fyvie previously lived in Chinnor, Long Crendon and Shabbington.

The couple now live in Sandford-on-Thames in Oxfordshire.
