Aylesbury town centre is celebrating the Queen’s official 90th birthday, with cake and live music in the Market Square on Tuesday.

Paul Kirkham, Aylesbury Vale District Council’s Markets Manager, said: “We welcome you to be inspired by our eclectic Vintage and Craft Bazaar, where you’ll find unusual pieces of jewellery, vintage clothing, stamps, various shabby chic items amongst lots of other rare little gems. Perfect for a special gift - maybe something a little different for Dad this Fathers Day?”

This week a range of ‘Book Lover’ stalls will join the Vintage and Craft Bazaar, where shoppers will be able to find new and used books.

You can also join the celebration with a slice or two of free cake, and singing duo John and Anita will perform standards ranging from Vera Lynn right up to current day hits. You can even have your photo taken with a “stand up” Queen.
