Taking place from June 6 - 21 the event will showcase over 500 local artists and makers who will open up their studios in over 200 locations to the public for a dazzling line-up of free demonstrations, hands on workshops and exhibitions.

Talent on show will include painters, ceramicists, glassworkers, basket weavers, metal workers, wood turners, jewellery makers, book makers, photographers, print makers and silk makers.

Taking part in the event for the first time is the Green Dragon Rare Breeds Farm and Eco Centre at Hogshaw near Quainton, where a group of artists will be located from Saturday June 6 through to Tuesday 16.

One of the artists who will be located there is Hilary Audus who worked on Raymond Brigg’s incredibly popular Oscar nominated animated film The Snowman.

Recently she has started to sculpt. All her pieces are based on the natural world, especially that of birds. She is inspired by primitive sculpture and the simplicity of Inuit art.
