£20k bill for council after County Hall entrance vandalised


Around £20,000 worth of damage has been caused to the entrance to Bucks County Council's HQ in Aylesbury after it was vandalised.
Eight windows and two doors at County Hall in Walton Street were smashed at just after 2am on Tuesday.
Safety barriers have been placed in front of the damaged glass, and building contractors boarded up the affected frames on Tuesday afternoon.

Hide AdThe council’s reception area is working normally, and replacement glass will be ordered for delivery and installation next week.
Yosef Brent, 30, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged with one count of criminal damage.
He will appear at Magistrates tomorrow.
