Annual report details another good year for Aylesbury College

A welcome message from principal Karen Mitchell and chair of corporation Janice Trebble said it had been ‘another very successful year’.

The college boasts a 100% progression rate from Access to Higher Education courses to university, and 96% of students achieve Level 3 BTEC (an A-level equivalent).

In a survey 96% of students said their course met their needs and 94% said it developed their employability.

Aylesbury College grew its income by almost 5% in 2014/15 to almost £14million. It invested £218,000 in infrastructure and technology.

The report also gives statistics on the make-up of its students and staff.

Fifty-nine per cent of students and 76% of staff are female. Twenty-five per cent of students are from minority ethnic backgrounds, well above the proportion in the local community (6%).
