Air ambulance called after car overturns on country road

An air ambulance was dispatched to a village after a car overturned and ended up in a ditch on a country road this morning.

Police, fire crews and an air ambulance, which was not required, attended the scene in West Street, Steeple Claydon at 9.20am.

Two elderly females were treated at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.

Firefighters sent two crews and an officer.
