50th anniversary reunion for high school girls
A group of 26 former Aylesbury High School pupils from the intake of 1966 held a reunion in Hardwick to celebrate 50 years since starting at the school.
The event was masterminded by Hilary Brian (nee Wilson) and the “girls” travelled from Barbados, Guernsey and many parts of Britain to be there.
Friendships were re-ignited, and memories of teachers and classroom exploits were exchanged. Afternoon tea and cake was shared, and glasses of bubbly were raised to schoolfriends both present and absent.
