250 litres of diesel spilled from tanker near Aston Clinton

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue were quickly dispatched to the scene to help clear things up.

The Incident occurred yesterday around midday on College Road North near Aston Clinton.

An articulated lorry was found with a ruptured fuel tank.

The fire and rescue services helped decant nearly 250 litres of diesel to prevent a hazard.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue said: "One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended.

"A leak of 250 litres of diesel was contained on the carriageway and in a drainage ditch.

"Firefighters siphoned the lorry’s remaining fuel (another 250 litres) into a tank."
