Bennett reprises Garland at Royal & Derngate

THE remarkable story of of one of Hollywood’s original divas, Judy Garland, returns to the Royal & Derngate next week.

End of The Rainbow, which began its life in Northampton last year before heading to the West End for critical and public acclaim, sees Tracie Bennett reprise the role of Judy in the last weeks of her life as she combats drink, drugs and a series of gruelling concerts in London.

London, December 1968, and Judy is about to make her comeback... again. Determined to reclaim her crown as the greatest talent of her generation, she battles with her demons amid a series of exhausting concerts at The Talk Of The Town. Despite a series of failed marriages, Judy has her latest and youngest husband-to-be by her side, a man as determined as she that, at any cost, these concerts will mark the revival of her battered career.
