Aylesbury Hundreds Rotary donate cash sum to Florence Nightingale Hospice

A Rotary Global Grant has enabled Aylesbury Hundreds Rotary club to present a large sum of money to the Florence Nightingale Hospice to purchase urgently needed equipment for use during the Covid -19 crisis.

Together with a club donation, all members individually contributed funding which under a Rotary International grant agreement has a further 50% added, boosting the final total.

The grant was applied for by the District 1260 Rotary Foundation team to cover all Hospices situated in the Beds, Bucks and Herts area of which there are 8.

The total grant was for a MASSIVE $84,000 which is to be distributed among the hospices.

The Rotary Club of Buckingham also contributed to Florence Nightingale and together with Aylesbury Hundreds, totalled a share of the grant amounting to a wonderful £6,345. Items being purchased by the Hospice will include portable Filtering Air conditioners.
