The union says that catering, domestic, portering and security staff on Sodexexo contracts at Stoke Mandeville Hospital want fair pay with NHS Staff at the hospital.

UNISON negotiated a pay deal for all NHS Staff in 2018 but unfortunately Sodexo have not implemented this deal.

Therefore, many Sodexo staff have remained on National Minimum Wage rates, the union says that this has resulted in many workers having to work two jobs or visit food banks to support their families.

At the same time Sodexo as a company made nearly a Billion pound profit last year.

The rally will take place on Friday (December 6) from 11am until 2pm at the hospital's main gate.
