NHS Trust covering Aylesbury now caring for single-figure Covid-19 patients in hospital

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust was caring for just SEVEN coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on April 20 was up from three on the same day the previous week.

Hide AdThe number of beds at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 decreased by 77% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 30.
Across England there were 1,649 people in hospital with Covid as of April 20, with 273 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 61% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 58%.
The figures also show that nine new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in the week to April 18. This was up from four in the previous seven days.
