Video shows Aylesbury police officers park up at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to applaud NHS staff

Every Thursday evening the nation comes together to Clap For Our Carers at front doors and windows.

But Thames Valley Police officers in Aylesbury went one step further.

Squad cars parked up outside Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury and applaud NHS staff.

TVP posted a video of officers paying tribute on Twitter, saying: "Tonight TVP Aylesbury officers applauded outside Stoke Mandeville Hospital to say thank you to the NHS staff for their tireless efforts.

"#ThankYou #StayHomeSaveLives."
