Vaccine effort continues to ramp up with first pharmacy led vaccination centre opening in Buckingham

As of 1.30pm today (January 28) the first pharmacy led vaccination centre in Buckingham will be fully operational.

Jardines Pharmacy on Meadow Walk in Buckingham has the capacity to jab 1,000 people per week.

Trained staff will be administering the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine to invited residents.

Jardines Pharmacy are an independent, family-run group of NHS Community Pharmacies serving Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

This latest centre will be jabbing patients in line with the UK government's national vaccine rollout to protect the public against the coronavirus.
