The survey aims to understand how residents in Buckinghamshire have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, including how the lockdown and its consequences have impacted their daily lives and health and wellbeing.

The information collected through the survey will be used to help tailor the local recovery throughout the county following the impact of coronavirus.

Coronavirus may affect some people more than others and, to date, Buckinghamshire Council is seeing that there are some residents currently underrepresented in their responses.

The council are now specifically reaching out to men, people with long term health conditions, members of the Black, Asian or minority ethnic communities and those working in high risk job roles such as carers, taxi drivers and NHS workers, to take part in the survey before it’s closing date on Wednesday, August 5.

Gareth Williams, Cabinet Member for Communities and Public Health, said: “The response to the survey has been brilliant and I would like to say a big thank you to those of you who have already taken part.

"Now it is really important to us that we hear from those who sit in the at-risk categories, so we know how all our different communities are feeling about their health and wellbeing during the pandemic.

"By sharing your experiences with us, it will really help us to improve how we support all our residents over the coming months.”
