Coronavirus weekend update: One person reported to have died in Bucks hospital

Data shows that 125 people are reported to have died in hospitals in Buckinghamshire with coronavirus between 1 March – 20 June, and 120 people have died in the region's care homes with the virus between 10 April – 12 June. Numbers for Buckinghamshire do not include Milton Keynes.

Government figures also shows there have been 29 positive tests for coronavirus in the past two weeks in Buckinghamshire.

Across the UK, a further 171 people are reported to have lost their lives to the disease over the weekend.

Globally, over nine million people are now known to have contracted Covid-19, with 470,981 sadly dying from the virus.
