569 more people died from the disease yesterday, taking the UK death toll to 2,921 in exactly four weeks. The first death from coronavirus in the UK was on 5 March.

Currently, 33,718 have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, but only hospitalised patients and some doctors and nurses are being tested here, so tens of thousands more are actually thought to have contracted the virus.
