The survival rate of a swarm of bees is greatly increased if they are collected and placed in a hive by a beekeeper, so members of the public are urged to contact the Association by using the dedicated swarm hotline: 07770 370132.

The Mid Bucks Beekeepers cover a large area from Buckingham in the North, Missenden in the South, to Tring in the East and to the outskirts of Bicester in the West.

If they are outside the Mid Bucks area they should find the nearest collector using the BBKA website and interactive map. www.bbka.org.uk/swarmPlease note that members of the public who report swarms will be expected to observe COVID-19 restrictions and Swarm Collectors responding to swarm call outs will ensure that they follow all relevant guidelines on social distancing and if this is not possible the swarm will not be collected. Beekeepers will not enter a dwelling to collect swarms.
