The Waterside Theatre:

They say:

"In line with government recommendations, all Ambassador Theatre Group venues including Aylesbury Waterside Theatre are open and we continue to welcome audiences across the UK.

"Working in close partnership with industry bodies such as the Society Of London Theatres and UK Theatre, we have also taken every precaution possible to ensure the health, safety and well-being of everyone in our venues.

Friars Club Gigs:

Aylesbury Friars Club's planned concerts from The Damned and The Flaming Lips are being reviewed on a daily basis. Friars founder David Stopps says that tickets will still be valid and if the May and July concerts do need to be postponed they will be valid for the new dates. The Damned were due to play on Friday, May 15, and The Flaming Lips concert is scheduled for July 24.

Queens Park Arts Centre:

Queens Parks Arts Centre will remain open until advice from the Government says otherwise. The centre has stepped up cleaning and hygiene procedures, and is asking that anyone who feels sick stays away in line with Government advice.

Florence Nightingale Hospice:

Florence Nightingale Hospice is closed to visitors and the Day Hospice is closed entirely. Hospice volunteers have also been stood down. Bosses say they are 'watching and waiting', and that entries from members of the public have stalled for the June 27 Midnight Walk fundraiser, which has not been cancelled yet.

Stoke Mandeville Hospital:

Stoke Mandeville Hosptial have closed several wards while they undergo a deep clean after several patients were confirmed to have coronavirus. For all other patients and staff, it's business as usual at the hospital. If you have symptoms of corona virus, please stay home and self isolate for seven days.

Bucks Goat Centre:

The Bucks Goat Centre is still open to visitors. They are taking 'ongoing precautions' to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They have asked all who attend the farm to wash their hands on entry.

Waddesdon Manor:

The Manor is currently still open to visitors - however there is currently filming taking place at the Manor until March 21. They say there are following advice from the National Health Service and Public Health England. They say: "Our current expectation is that the house and grounds, exhibitions and most events will continue to run, unless government guidelines advise otherwise. We’re making contingency plans and working closely with partner organisations to ensure we can respond to a range of scenarios as they unfold."

Aqua Vale:

Still open as normal.

They say: “Following information from Public Health England, we are advising all members and customers to familiarise themselves with the advice on coronavirus by referring to our posters in the reception and changing areas of our facilities. Colleagues are also carrying out regular health, safety and cleanliness checks and are ensuring all touch-point surfaces are cleaned regularly. We are also increasing our supply of anti-bacterial soap, hand and surface anti-bacterial spray, and paper towels available within our gyms and are asking all customers to wipe down any equipment they have used. Everyone Active is continuously monitoring the ongoing updates and guidance offered by Public Health England and the NHS. We are also asking our colleagues to follow the ongoing advice.Our centres are still operating as usual and we’d just like to emphasise that staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle should remain a priority for our colleagues and members.

Aylesbury Vegans Cheese and Wine Night

The event, scheduled for Friday March 20 at Beyond Wines has been cancelled.

Aylesbury Flower Club

They have cancelled the next three flower club meetings, during March, April and May. They have said this is because of advice given to them from the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies. Members will be notified when they intend to start up again.

They said: "We are unwilling to unnecessarily expose those of our members who are more vulnerable to this virus and so feel this is the best and safest option.We are awaiting several responses to further enquiries."
