Yesterday (June 13), a further five positive tests were returned and eight new cases were recorded on Saturday June 12.

This is a further step in the right direction after a dozen new cases were confirmed on Friday alone in the region.

No new Covid linked deaths were confirmed in Aylesbury Vale. The government records these deaths when someone passes away within 28 days of returning a positive Covid test.

The latest vaccination information shows 75% of the adult population in Aylesbury Vale have been jabbed to protect against Covid. In total 55.5% of adults in Aylesbury Vale are fully vaccinated.

In the UK 15,228 new Covid cases were confirmed this weekend and 20 new deaths linked to the virus were recorded.
